Reflections on Next Steps

Using ALL the driving forces generated in Workshop 2 and any additional notes from participants, the Consultant will generate four (4) scenarios for review prior to and discussion at the next workshop during the second week of February 2012 (exact date to be determined). These will be available by the end of December 2011.

The scenarios will use the framework generated in Workshop 2 as a guide to develop the narratives about the POSSIBLE FUTURES that could occur given the confluence of the two driving forces. As a specific note – these scenarios are NOT predictions but possibilities, and they are NOT a determination of a future you can select. They are a way of discussing the next steps at Workshop 3 in Fort St. John which are:

a. If these are the possible futures what strategic directions do we need to be thinking about in the region; AND
b. What elements need to form a Vision for the Region?
